I just got my advances for this book from Kids Can Press, that I worked on. It's going to be in stores soon :) so exciting to see the finished product !

This is not my usual illustrated post, but my daughter and I were getting creative with crafts and came up with this puppet. It was a lot of fun to make, Amélie was in charge of all the gluing so it was a two day process, overnight for all the glue to dry ;)

It's been a while since I've last posted. This is because the newest addition to our family has arrived, two weeks early and the day after moving into our new house...so as you can imagine there has been a lot of changes and adjustments going on here! I think I am getting back on top of things so check back soon and I will try to post more regularly again!

On the theme of Spring, this spring will bring another little one in our home. So here is some early doodle of Amélie and her baby brother (to be).

So now that we are thinking of selling our house, we decided (4 years later) that we should probably put some artwork up...but we didn't have anything that we liked, and we are on a budget, so I was doing some paper cut outs this morning and this is what came out of it!
I am on a bird kick right now (Sorry Shana!) must be looking forward to spring!

Robots - ink and watercolour

While painting with my 2.5 year old this morning I was informed that I was doing it all wrong. "Use (pronounced "ooze") your fingers Maman!" (loosen up in other words). So I tried it and really had a great time! Here are the results, they make fun little spot illustrations I think! Thanks Amélie for teaching me a thing or two ;)
